1. The 20th Faculty Council of Pusan National University plans to publish “Essays of the PNU Community”
    in commemoration of the University’s 80th anniversary in 2026, with the aim of recording the lives and reflections of its members.
 
2. “Essays of the PNU Community” is a commemorative publishing project hosted by the Pusan National
     University Faculty Council and sponsored by the Pusan National University Headquarters.
     This project is a commemorative publication intended to document the 80-year history of Pusan National University through the voices of its members.
     It is designed as a symbolic cultural initiative of shared governance, encouraging participation from students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
 
3. We hereby invite contributors as outlined below and kindly request your active participation and promotion.

 
A. Project Title
 ? Publication of “Essays of the PNU Community” in Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Pusan National University
 
B. Eligibility
 ? Faculty members (including current faculty, emeritus professors, and lecturers)
 ? Alumni
 ? Teaching and research assistants
 ? Staff members (including members of the Staff Association and the Industry? University Cooperation Foundation Labor Union)
 ? Students (undergraduate and graduate students)
  ※ Open to all members of the PNU community
 
C. Manuscript Guidelines
 ? Free-form prose (essay, reflection, memoir, etc.)
 ? Length: Approximately 1/2 to 2 pages (A4)
 ? Based on the Hangeul (HWP) file format: Margins - Top and Bottom: 25 mm each / Left and Right: 20 mm each / Font size: 11 pt
  ☞ If you are using a different word processor, please format your manuscript in accordance with the above specifications.
 ? Content: Personal experiences, thoughts, and reflections
 ? Honorarium: 30,000 KRW per essay

D. Optional Additional Contributions
 ? Author’s voice recording (to be included via QR code)
 ? A favorite classical quotation accompanied by a brief reflection

 ? Printed book edition
 ? PDF digital edition
 
F. Scheduled Publication Date

  ※ While the deadline for manuscript submission is March 31, 2026 (Tues.), advance registration is
      requested to facilitate planning of the overall volume and editorial arrangements.       
      Applications are still accepted after Saturday, February 28th, so please do not feel overly pressured by the deadline.
